Concertone(LOL) and slide outs
We bought our rockwood 8317ss in oct.2007. We just had the concertone replaced. the old model was the zx500, the new model is zx600. I noticed after I picked up the trailer from the dealer that the dvd did not work (I found the video connection was not plugged into the concertone). What's with the different model #'s. zx600 onthe cover, a zx600 model#, but a zx550 sticker on the back? Now the concertone lcd only works with the tv remote(no long can change channels w/ concertone). Channels need to be changed on both. DVD only displays when the monitor calls from a differnt source (old zx500, put in dvd, did the rest on it's own). Anyone else have a similar problem? Also How important is it the put the stabilzers(two of them)over the slideout when traveling? On short 20 mile trips I haven't used them but the dealer said one is enough if travelling more. Any thoughts??

We have a rockwood 8317ss. Bought in Oct 2007. On our 3rd time using the trailer, the cocertone failed. Dealer replaced it with the new zx600 (old was zx500). Got No manuals and can not find any online. I'm expierencing the same problems as alakrazam. What gives with this piece of junk cocertone. When it worked before it was great. We just love this trailer(big move from tenting), but from the money everything should work!
